Hi ,
I wanted to see if anyone has ever heard/seen someone building a brand new home have their upstairs flooring completely replaced due it to being exposed to the rain for too long? If so, how long did the process take and is it safe replacing the flooring while all the timber frames are already erected?
Because my manufacturer says 5 months max, so I am above that now and I'm wondering if its worth causing the builder to change them and cop the lag while the roof is on, the build is already lagged anyways so haha?
Mine has been exposed now for 5 months without a roof after March 31 2022. Here is a photo that highlights all days above 10mm. Since the the upstairs floor way laid March 31st, I luckily avoided Jan and Feb huge amount of rain.
