I am so frustrated with our c.s.c. She is so difficult to deal with. She seems to think we are going to sign contracts blindly without asking any questions. Our S.C. was wonderful-answered all of my 100's of questions with no problem at all-always followed up, e-mailed back, called back etc, so it's now very frustrating to get to the next stage and have such a difficult person to deal with-are you allowed to request a new CSC-how do you go about it???
Our issues are-she ****** to us about things that are obviously in the too hard basket and gets annoyed when i question her if there is any other way of doing things.
For example i asked her about whether we could apply for our setback to be reduced from the council-she said "no there is no point, the council will not agree to it-i've been through all this before and it won't happen". I have since rang the council they were very helpful and stated we would have a very strong case for us to bring our setback forward as the ajoining properties are more forward than ours.
I then asked her whether our rangehood was externally vented-she said no we had to pay $220 for it. I since rang around and found venting the rangehood into the roof space of a 2 storey home is actually illegal-she's had to back down on that one and it is now a standard inclusion
There are many other things too...
I ended up ringing our original S.C. and asked him all the questions i had that she would not answer or would say are not possible. He consulted the design team and most of the things we want are possible-just more difficult than she wants to deal with. She has now sent me a quite nasty e-mail to me stating she is going to be contacting our S.C. and his boss to obviously give them a serve about giving me info that she wasn't willing to provide.
Do you have to deal with the CSC until the final contract is signed? Is that the end of our dealings with her?? I hope so!!!!
