Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 29, 2022 7:36 am We are building in a new subdivision, and I have just noticed that light poles have been put up. One is at the front of our block, and it looks to be awefully close to where our proposed driveway is. Our plans are currently with council to be approved, so we haven't started building yet. We have gone through the entire process up to signing contracts and now this, so making changes at this stage is going to be extremely difficult. Shouldn't light poles etc. Be placed at boundaries so they don't impact houses and driveways? Who's responsible for fixing this? Or are we unlucky? Hopefully you are lucky enough too! I'm based in Adelaide and I'm considering purchasing a house and land package from Weeks Homes.
