Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 05, 2022 8:43 pm Hi All, Needing help to decide on island benchtop colour. Back bench: I have laminex ‘oyster grey matt’ upper cabinetry with 20mm caesarstone ‘snow’ over ‘calm white’ laminex base cabinets. Island benchtop is 20mm waterfall with the same ‘calm white’ laminex base cabinets. I am trying to decide if the island should be a. Cloud burst concrete b. Alpine Mist c. Frosty Carrina d. Snow Would you do 40mm for island rather than 20mm? Thanks very much!! Re: Benchtop caesarstone colour 3May 08, 2022 8:02 pm We did 40mm and could not be happier. It looks so so good. How long is your island? Will it need a join? We have a join, so we chose a stone that wouldn’t allow a join to be as noticeable.
