Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building in EVE Estate 742Apr 18, 2012 7:38 am Cozmo Eve Dweller Suburb name change is a bad idea, not sure if people actually understand the implications Depends... I think removing Cranbourne from the name would have an increase in property values. Bigger implications if the postcode changed but I dont think it will be too much. Anyhoo I really dont think a name change will get off the ground any time soon.. the council seem to be working though other (internal) issues atm. I agree, Cozmo. Even if we were Clyde or Casey as a suburb, it will definitely help with increasing property values. I'm not sure how it's going to have a negative impact, eve dweller? Yea it will probably take a while, considering that even Glasscocks road connecting to Narre-cranbourne was promised wayyyy before by Stockland n also the council when I rang up about mid last year. Even that hasn't been actioned. Re: Building in EVE Estate 744Jul 13, 2012 3:12 pm excitednewhomeowner No posts since April... Hows everyone been? Cold and wet! Noticed those speed humps as well last week!!! very annoying. On another point lately ive noticed this white/grey stuff build up at the bottom of the garage. I think we have always got it but it seems to be more than normal. Anyone know what this would be? i can upload pics if needed. Re: Building in EVE Estate 748Aug 27, 2012 2:04 pm Hey guys..... I've been in Eve Estate for 3 years now and during that time I've tried a number of different mobile phone providers, but all of them have had bad reception (I refuse to use Telstra). Does anyone have any recommendations?? Thanks! Re: Building in EVE Estate 749Aug 27, 2012 3:43 pm Im with vodafone and its not 100% but its usable. Its been a lot better since upgrades in the area were carried out a few months ago. What phone have you got? I refuse to sign up with telstra as well Re: Building in EVE Estate 750Sep 08, 2012 10:26 am Noticed the old sale office has a fence around it. Anyone know what they are doing to it? Re: Building in EVE Estate 752Oct 24, 2012 7:06 pm Its great to have the colorbond fences in the estate but the major downfall is they are too short for tall people and can see straight into the neighbours yard. Has anyone had a quote to have them extended? Re: Building in EVE Estate 753Oct 26, 2012 2:37 pm excitednewhomeowner Its great to have the colorbond fences in the estate but the major downfall is they are too short for tall people and can see straight into the neighbours yard. Has anyone had a quote to have them extended? I agree with you especially when it is on a slope. But I don't think you can extend it as the maximum height has to be 180cm I believe according to the contract? I think they said this is going where the Pharmacy currently is. No info of what going on the esecond story (maybe office fitout at a guess) or the smaller shop down the bottom, the woolies down the rad should be open in a couple of months..... should be able to buy everything on the weekly shop on special having a coles, woolies and IGA and around us. On our street we had lots of kids that would play together... then they all went.. but now new people with kids have moved in around the place and my little one has friends in the street again. Pretty good neighbourhood really. Clyde rd is SO busy now!
