Still got no idea who to sign the mobile phones with. Telstra are too $$$$ Hi Excitedhomeowner, Hows is the internet connection with exetel?fast?reliable? Did Telstra allow you to have their cheapest home phone package and internet with another ISP? Telstra told me that if I have a phone line with them and I decide to get internet from another provider then I have to change my phone plan from $20 to $29. Cheers Kenny Havent connected to exetel as yet as i havent moved into my house. Should be in mid august. But i have a mate who has been in eve for a couple of weeks and have got him to sign up with exetel with a telstra phone line. Pretty sure his line rental was $20 a month. Have dropped him an email to ask him how much his paying for his phone line? Hi Excitedhomeowner, I am planning to go with Exetel broadband, can you please tell me how's the speed and performance. Thanks Re: Building in EVE Estate 704Oct 05, 2011 6:59 pm dreamworks Havent connected to exetel as yet as i havent moved into my house. Should be in mid august. For $39 a month im very happy it with plus you get voip service as well which i use. 10cent phone calls australia wide. If I was using my home phone with telstra the majority of my calls would be STD...... They're offering unlimited ADSL2 for $50. Has anyone experience with them yet? The catch is that there is an annual $50 'membership fees'. Was thinking to go with them as you can go on a month to month plan and also no set up fees. Cheers Kenny Re: Building in EVE Estate 707Oct 16, 2011 8:13 am Never heard of ClubTelco sorry On another note is anyone with vodaphone as my wife and I just signed up two Iphone 4s's with them. Whats the coverage like?? Also the pizza shop is finally starting to be worked on yay!!! Yeah thats about the as me (with internode) and I would suspect what most would expect as we are all on a telstra ISAM (like a mini exchange) that is located just behind the old sales office... telstra have not got enough backhaul to the main exhange (located down near Bunnings on Thompsons road) so when every gets home at night we get massive slow down. excitednewhomeowner If I was using my home phone with telstra the majority of my calls would be STD...... One thing to do here for anyone who uses their telstra phone is to get the regional call option on there account... costs $2 a month and caps calls within 80km to $1. We need this as calls to places like the city and suburbs are charged at STD rates, cos we are regional (metro on the other side Glasscocks Rd). *Unless you use VoIP like excited of course then you dont have to worry Cheers Cozmo ______________________________ Building a PD Heywood 29 http://fromevetoeternity.blogspot.com/ Re: Building in EVE Estate 710Nov 13, 2011 7:03 pm Getting voip was the best move i have made in a while. 10cent calls australia wide cant go wrong The pizza shop is slowly coming along. Probably be ready early in the new year. anyone got news on the old sales office....seems such a waste of space at the moment Re: Building in EVE Estate 711Dec 01, 2011 2:14 pm Someone uprooted and stole three of my rose bushes from my front yard. I can see why someone would want them as they looked fantastic but I was seething with rage when I back out the driveway to see that... and then I was sad. Re: Building in EVE Estate 712Dec 01, 2011 7:22 pm Thats terrible SuLander... i assume this happened at night?? Re: Building in EVE Estate 713Dec 02, 2011 3:55 pm What the hell... people will steal anything.... I know alot of the trees planted in the street have being nicked but now from peoples yards is a bit rich.. maybe plant some cactus to slow 'em down Cheers Cozmo ______________________________ Building a PD Heywood 29 http://fromevetoeternity.blogspot.com/ Re: Building in EVE Estate 714Dec 05, 2011 10:56 am excitednewhomeowner Thats terrible SuLander... i assume this happened at night?? It must have been at night. Both me and missus were out till 10:30ish but I didn't notice (had work X'mas party.... read I was tipsy). That being said we have a street light 5 meters away from where the bushes were. Ahhh... what can you do?! Re: Building in EVE Estate 715Dec 08, 2011 8:11 pm Ok just worked out - evap cooling on + market garden smell = about to vomit!! seriously surely something can be done about whatever they put on those gardens so it doesnt smell!!! Also while im at it one thing thats getting annoying is the people parking on the road opposite the fish n chip & bakery. With the cars parked on each side its at times hard to get past. Its also hard to see everything and i believe will only be a matter of time before someone gets hit.. Why cant people just park in the car park!!! Also while im ranting on haha...Just on the Fish n chip shop the owners always park their car right out the front of their shop. You would think it would be best to leave it free for potential customers!!! Maybe the council need to enforce 15min limits for those few car parks out the front. </rant finished> Re: Building in EVE Estate 717Dec 13, 2011 3:15 pm excitednewhomeowner Ok just worked out - evap cooling on + market garden smell = about to vomit!! seriously surely something can be done about whatever they put on those gardens so it doesnt smell!!! Only can wait till they get brought out and turned into housing estate/Casey town central. excitednewhomeowner Also while im at it one thing thats getting annoying is the people parking on the road opposite the fish n chip & bakery. Why cant people just park in the car park!!! Its a combination of bad design and peoples general laziness.... not one shop faces the carpark and only a handful of street parking spacing in front of the shops. excitednewhomeowner Also while im ranting on haha...Just on the Fish n chip shop the owners always park their car right out the front of their shop. I dont think they could actually walk that far... must eat allot of there own product. excitednewhomeowner Maybe the council need to enforce 15min limits for those few car parks out the front. Yes I think that is a good idea as well as some speed bumps or speed Chicanes down the dead-end of glasscock rd (until its built through) to stop all the speed demons and the constant burnouts every second night. Re: Building in EVE Estate 720Dec 22, 2011 2:01 pm have not seen them yet Excited ... the kids used to like the bloke on the other side of glasscocks rd (the glasscocks rd people always turn up and get lost when trying to find our estate).. normally a queue to get in and see it all.. not sure if its going on this year Cheers Cozmo ______________________________ Building a PD Heywood 29 http://fromevetoeternity.blogspot.com/ go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110576 |
