Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 27, 2022 5:25 pm Our lot is a 10m width (zero lot boundary). The house design we are looking to build is 8.27m wide. This will leave us with around 1.53m for the side fence. If we are looking to build an alfresco and pergola later down the track, will the 1.5m side fence be enough to allow access to the backyard? Alternatively, would it be better to have this all done during the house build? Re: Access to backyard on a narrow lot 2Mar 27, 2022 5:53 pm You might want to consider all your plans for the rear yard, 1.5m if fine but it does mean all materials to and from are by hand (wheel borrow). If soil needs to be excavated that would be by hand. Some builders will only do the site pad to suit their build, you could ask for the entire site to be addressed. Definitely later than expected, but I'll take any progress at this point. I'll drop by over the weekend to get… 5 27409 |
