Re: Options for door placed incorrectly? 8Mar 18, 2022 7:27 pm Just thought I would update, as I asked the builder about this the night before. They got back to me this afternoon to say this will be fixed as per the plans which is good as I thought I may have to fight a little to get this outcome. But without even needing to be poked that was the outcome. Re: Options for door placed incorrectly? 9Mar 18, 2022 8:33 pm As they should have. It was always their fault and ultimately had no option but to change it to what the plans show. It would have been interesting to see just how far they would have let the build go before rectifying the issue if you didn't bring it to their attention. It's only when the joinery guys went in to measure they found the wall was shorter. But I have a feeling they didn't know why it was different to the original measurements as the pantry door is still in the same place but the right of the wall is shorter in their diagram, would have thought if they knew the door in the diagram would be shown to be more over.
