Ashington Homes rachelj72 Can anyone tell me what is the difference for Garage door and facade. Shadowclad VS Weathertex Weathergroove Natural vertical cladding ? Which is better and cost? Thanks Rachel I have used the Weathertext weathergroove on my own house. It's a fantastic product and it comes in larger sheets than the FC did at the time. The only issue I had was on the northern side of the house which gets all the sun I had a couple of sheets warp a little. I just added some additional screws which took 10 mins and havent had a problem since. Just be careful with your window selection as you need to pay particular attention to the flashings when using these products. What I find helpful with new products is most of the companies have reps who generally happy to show you some of the homes built with their products. If I were you I would ask for the builder to give you the shadowclad reps details. I know the weathertex rep Simon Hasham really well and I would be more than happy to set you up with a tour if you like cheers Simeon Architectural Homes & Duplexes - specialising in custom designing homes to your budget Get a Free Onsite Consultation Today or send a PM for information, questions or advice. |
