Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Build cost predications post 2022 24Feb 21, 2022 3:58 pm Yes we've been informed of a 20-30% price increase (since pre-covid) with a builder in SA and have heard this is fairly consistent with other builders. I've heard from a few people that there is likely to be more increases throughout 2022, but the biggest jump is likely to have already happened. No guarantee when or if prices will come down either (somehow the building industry defies supply and demand forces).
