My base with facade was about 560k (2 price rises prior) There is 370k upgrades spent plus 40k site costs . Admittedly the home is pretty much display home to the point I took the DOL (options list from display) and gave it to the studio to add in. If you are frugal in areas then 150k would be thin but doable on a house that large with that many bathrooms etc. Site costs will eat in very quickly not knowing your land. Basix as well. If you can get air con thrown in will save you 20k in electrical. Brc83 sounds like we are building something very similar. How far are you in your construction journey? My base price quote is more than a year old. I would be interested to know what they have quoted you for build time. Also Bigger house = more surface area for upgraded finishes, so make sure when you are comparing homes with somone, its like for like. a 50-56sq home will vary in upgrade cost to somone in a 45sq home. Its not uncommon for metricon customers building these behemoths to walk away having spent in excess of 1M.
