I would think it would be better at least 300mm wider. The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get ! If this was our house, some small changes I'd make: - Acoustic bats b/w bed 1 and 2 for "noise" lol - Sliding door into the laundry (no door in the way if your in the cupboards) - Swap the toilet/shower in the master so you have light into the shower and put a slider on the toilet - If its not too much money, bring the garage out to the same line as the bathroom Re: House plans 4Jan 06, 2022 2:25 pm without enlarging the original floor plan my suggestions include a window in the wiw for light and ventilation, double vanity on the south side allows for more storage, more comfortable standing room and shower on the west side keeps wet floor away from the door, less wasted space without the bumpout in the bathroom, rearrange powder room to allow for a mudroom and more direct access from garage to kitchen and you should consider an external door from garage to caravan parking, rearrange the WIL allows for more storage with shorter side halls, bigger pantry and space in the entry for a suet down cabinet and rotating the pool allows for a grassed play area with direct views from inside and, depending on your local climate and views, the windows and side gardens spaces could be reconsidered eg if the caravan was parked on the east side the western side garden could be narrower and bigger eastern gardens could be wider instead of two driveway width spaces?
