Builder refusal - site access

Hi,

We are hoping to begin a knockdown rebuild soon but one builder we have been talking with has turned us down due to site access. There is a tree and a power pole on our nature strip and power lines go from the power pole to the next door house over our driveway.

They also said that the next door garage location meant it would need PWN requirements.

Are all builders likely to turn us down due to these issues? Is there anything that can be done?
There is nothing there that cannot be managed by a competent builder. Whether the builder wants your job is another thing. If there is a lot of good work around then it's builder's market and they will pick and choose and give you BS excuses if they don't want your work.
All you can do is shop around.
