Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 28, 2021 7:15 pm I'm building 2 townhouses side by side and going to subdivide. I need to install an underground pit for the electricity and filling out the application form for Jemena and have some questions 1. Do I need just 1 pit or do I need 2 pits (1 for each property) 2. What is the rate of supply (Amps and kW) that I should put on the application (already just my air conditioning for each unit is 23kW) 3. If I get a 3 phase pit installed by the Electricity company, is there anything on the builder side (electrician) that is needed extra. (ie, if the builder is assuming single phase in their quotation, if the supply is 3 phase is there anything that will be needed that would make the cost go up on the builder side) Re: Connection Application for Underground Electricity Suppl 2Aug 30, 2021 12:31 pm I think you only need 1 pit regardless of how many units you are building. My application form seemed to have 100amps as a limited. Application with more than 100amps needs special assessment. I got 40amps. Probably best to ask your electrician. My builder requested what they'd want, and I put in the application.
