We are building 2 x 3 storey townhouses side by side with a common internal wall.
- Core filled blockwork was specified - some internal walls missing - wrong size blockwork used - some blockwork not filled but hollow
- Window frames installed without glass - No side or top flashing
- No doors installed
- Partition walls not constructed in basement
- plans showed metal stud walls but timber walls constructed
- Build had altered roof trusses. Are they supposed to be included to be checked in the frame inspection
- Fire rated parti wall - wrong product used.
- 1-2 lintels missing
- bracing not wrapped beneathe bottom stud The building surveyor passed the frame inspectionNeedless to say we are no longer with this builder and our build has been in standstill mode, while we try and work all this out. Would appreciate feedback. Which of the above items should the building surveyor have checked?
