Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 05, 2021 9:00 pm Hi, I am trying to find out brick quantities for my house. I know the basic 50 brick per sqm rule for common house brick, however, can anyone tell me if there's any usual practice or certain % of total brick rule to find out bricks for sills, lintels, corners, half-bond, solids, cored etc. Do i need to use specific brick for these locations or cored brick is fine? Also what is the type of brick usually used at bottom course touching ground slab and at top course touching roof frame?
