Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 26, 2021 6:43 pm Hi All, This is a distress call actually. We shifted to our new home nearly 2 months back. Today I noticed that there is leakage possibly from bathroom as the store room near bathroom has a mould growth. The laminate floor near bathroom is soaked in water and can be seen to have water beneath it. We also notice the carpet in the adjecent room is wet. I have contacted the builder but will hear from them on Monday. meantime, I request anyone who has gone trhough such expereince to share their advice. Will it be easily fixed? Would I have to doubt the structure of the house now? How long it might take them to fix it? What questions now should I ask them? Are they obliged to change carpets? Thanks. Sorry I am not in right frame of mind. Re: Leakage from bathroom -new home 2Jun 27, 2021 10:51 am First thing is for the builder to find the leak and fix that.
