If anyone can shed light, that would so highly appreciated.
Our Block - Corner Lot 400m2
Falls under Small Lot Code
Builder insists that grey shaded area is the 9x9 truncation area in which we can't build as per BCC guidelines and therefore requires a Development Approval costing $4,500.
I have heard and seen other houses in Brisbane region on a corner block that does not fill that requirement. I know of people who have built with other Builders their house sitting was approved within the 9x9 area without any DA to Council.
Does anyone know the answer, or can anyone shed any light on this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
