Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 25, 2021 11:18 am We are building and have made some changes to the the builders plan. I really wanted the garage to be accessed through the house not like the plan which was via the porch/alfresco. So I moved the laundry and extra powder room beside the garage and have a door coming in from the games room. Will this be silly and not flow well? The laundry was originally down near the bedrooms but I took it out and we added a rumpus and extra bedroom and added WIR to all bedrooms. Also I wouldn’t dismiss external garage access only as many people don’t like the idea of sharing garage smells and noises inside their house. Also having windows on the right side walls may add a lot more amenity to the family room.
