I'd suggest you have a chat with builders about that aspect. Check the developers for developer/design guidelines re setback etc. Quite often these irregular blocks are coming in at a discount ($/sqm) due to the challenges they can pose. So if they aren't, consider negotiating on price with the sales people. Last thing, beware easements which could further limit the usability of the block. I've seen these types of blocks with significant easements running the entire length of the longest boundary.
