We are building in SE melbourne with a volume builder, and now is at the stage of completing all frames. My recent visit noticed that the upstairs toilets water tanks which required to be installed before plaster wall goes up since they are hidden water tank behind the wall, were leaking/dripping water onto the second level floor and had go thru the floorboards and dripping to ground level concrete floor and made it all wet. (wet on both ground and second floor). i just want to make sure that these second level wood floor are water resistant? and it wouldn't cause any future flooring issue such as squeaky sounds or unnecessary movements structurally? or if it is not good, then should the builder be replacing them immediately?
