Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 05, 2021 9:32 am Hi all, We are stuck on our last externals choice, we opted for our home to look exactly like the display home which is a bit more of an elegant/ contemporary Hamptons design both internal and external rather than a coastal Hampton’s. We wanted to put monier Altura (barramundi colour) as per the display, it wasn’t too dark and complimented the house well. We are also considering colour bond however It appears the closest we can get to in colour is monument. I follow someone online who is built A very similar design house with identical external colours the only difference is they have used the roof tiles in Sambuca which is even darker, I presume the colourbond roof would make it look darker perhaps due to profile Monier has the new c loc technology and apparently holds it colour significantly better than colourbond. We are really stuck in where to go! Basically need to: 1. Want to make sure the roof type works with the house design 2. If we went monument would it work well with design and facade? Have attached both barramundi and sambuca pics. Same externals colours. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our house was completed 8 years ago.
