If you want detailed analysis of credit ratings, regulator reprimands phoenixing, if they've been in court, pay their bills, etc a Builder Background Check provides a myriad of checks - but it does come at a cots - the choice is yours.

Problem with product review is the builder pays for the client to do a review, I wouldn't trust anything on Product review when it comes to building companies
You might want to look at Facebook group $honky Builders WA (you need to join) there is a bit on them there by the looks of it
Have a look at site called productreview, they are good. They give you stats from "Recommended" to "Avoid" and if the "Avoids" are statistically too many, then do not choose that builder.

Newchoice Developments gave me a $50 Bunnings voucher, but that did not stop me from telling the public what sort of problems I ran into regarding costing. I still recommend them as I am aware that time is money and everybody makes mistakes from designer, architect, builder, yourself, etc. and everybody has to watch the building process like a hawk.
They were not happy that I sent my critique to Productreview rather than to them and it took a few emails to get those $50! Besides, they expect you to be honest and tick the question in the affirmative: "Did you get a reward for this report?"
Most builders have been in the game for a long time and know how to treat those pesky customers. In my case, e.g., you are assigned a "buffer" or contact person who is NOT the supervisor for your job. Even for the "buffer" like in the navy you are not given a mobile number, you have to ring the switchboard, the switchboard sees if the "buffer" is busy and nine out of ten cases she will ring you back. This means a certain delay when things are very urgent. And it becomes a game of Chinese Whispers as the "buffer" is not familiar with technical details.
Just enter "Builder Summit productreview" into Dr Google and have a look at the statistics and you will be surprised!
