Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 12, 2008 2:42 pm Hi All,
Bec n Craig here... we are building the Atlantique 32 (Carlsile Homes) in the Alamanda Estate Point Cook (Stage 3 lot 242 Periwinkle Way). we are starting construction in feb i cant wait. we took our saussgae dog to visit our dirt and take some photos. i love the feel of alamanda its such a family enviroment and the area is looking amazing. we both work in the city and think Point Cook is the ideal location for work and starting a family. id love to hear from other people in alamanda and also people who are building with carlsile. i have had a good look through the forum and have decided to include our own story! Id also just like to say: although i have read alot of blogs about Carlsile and problems people have had its a shame because so far Nathan in lyndhurst has been nothing but excellent. No uilders are perfect fingers crossed all goes well! Bec n Craig Carlisle Atlantique 32sq - Handover 13th Aug... MAYBE? yesterday we walked from our block to bayview park. Its nice walking past all the display homes that are getting built. there were heaps of people out yesterday ...lovely weather. my dog was scared of all the children running around. guess she will have to get used to it. we are living in noble park with the in laws at the moment so Alamanda is a huge change from that area (we are so excited) and the gym i cant wait for that. Craig and i are now looking at what type of landscaping and colour of front facadewe should do we are looking at tropical plants with river rock pebbles and Exposed Aggregate concrete for the driveway. we dont want alot... if any grass out the front ( saves on time and water) we are also doing wooden garage door and decked front entrance. As far as render goes we havent any idea what to do. let us know your thoughts Carlisle Atlantique 32sq - Handover 13th Aug... MAYBE? We are living in Point Cook at the moment. We sold our house in Essendon to downsize the mortgage I must say I really do like the area and I agree Alamanda will be fabulous. I read a spread about it in last weekends home magazine and the gym sounds terrific (commerical sized with swipe card access for residents) also love the sound of the heated pool. My DH is OBSESSED with landscaping atm. He has drawn alot of pics of what he wants the front to look like it will be alot of natives and with a stepped deck pathway to the front door. We are still tossing up on render colours. I think there will be dune paperbark and jasper mainly. Looking forward to seeing what you decide on for your place. When does construction start for you? Re: Our Atlantique 32 in the Alamanda Estate... 6Oct 13, 2008 7:49 am Hi Bec N Craig, welcome.. and you are from stage 3 too..
When are you starting to build? Our earth work is currently in progress, hopefully to have a slab down in 2-3 weeks time.. i am worried that i may be the first one to move in (with no one surrounding but construction ) I am in Verdure street.. Walking distance to the sport centre.. so my DH won't have excuse of not going there and do exercies.. (though my dad doent want us to get this because he thinks it will get to slippery - "when your pregnant i dont want you slipping over" he says thats dads for you i guess) i love the wodden paths they look amazing.
Cleago we will be the next street down. we start building in feb. so we wont move in till mid year. what type of house are you building? we have just organise our browse, colour selections and tender appointments. this should be an interesting time as we cant seem to agree on colours. Craig and i are happy that the gym is in walking distance makes it easy to get there hahah. i might even get up before work to do a workout! Carlisle Atlantique 32sq - Handover 13th Aug... MAYBE? Bec n Craig We're also building in Alamanda, most probably going with Simonds, I liked the Bordeaux by Carlisle, but wouldnt accomodate some changes we wanted, but I think their homes are excellent. I agree there is no perfect builder you just have to hope for the best. Our land isnt scheduled to title till June 09, so we got more than enough time to sort out our house design, and save some more money. Anyway welcome to Alamanda G Re: Our Atlantique 32 in the Alamanda Estate... 9Oct 13, 2008 7:19 pm Hi Bec, we are building a single storey, just 22sq, not big but enough for 2 people..

Welcome! We are also building at Alamanda but we are in Stage 5 so our land probably won't title until beginning of next yr.. We are getting more and more excited as we see the progress made at Alamanda, the Bayview park looks awesome and the construction of the gym coming along nicely. Oh how i wish i was in stage 3 too, so we could start building... Hopefully we'll all get to meet at the next family fun day or alamanda event, the one that was planned for last week got postponed at the last minute.. [i]We built in Point Cook and are loving our new house. reply 13Dec 12, 2008 5:15 pm Hey,
Have you got any updates for us, Bec N Craig? I'm at Completion Stage, Atlantique 36 Mk2, CH. You may remember me as "pringles", on such websites as Homeone. Building Atlantique Mk2 with Carlisle. At completion stage. Regards of course there are legal avenues. You've already mentioned it. Sue them. I find it odd that lawyers wouldnt be willing to take on the case, given CCT evidence and… 1 23785 "Losers" "humanity" "off time" "your" "top notch" "love symbol" Sounds like ponzo is done using other people's toilets 36 23920 |
