Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 29, 2021 11:25 am Hi, I'm about to finish building a house and it's time for fencing. Need fencing along with three sleepers below it as I need to fill some soil till the three sleepers. Got some quotes but one quote was very good in terms of rate but they recommended galvanised support post instead of usual timber. Is it really worth going for a galvanised support post for the extra cost? Or I'll be fine with the timber ones? The one I'm worries about it the pressure from the soil fill later on which might add to the sleepers. Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks 4 3730 I am looking for someone who might have tackled a similar issue as me. I have a few rendered interior walls, the surface condition is hardly flat. I can see all the bumps… 0 7964 Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 15907 |
