Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 08, 2021 12:38 pm Hi everyone, Debating over whether to go with the Fisher and Paykel french door refrigerator with freezer draw underneath or to just opt for column fridge and column freezer side by side. Any help/recommendations would be great! TIA Re: Regrigerator help 4Mar 13, 2021 2:48 pm Our kitchen fridge is a French door, and pros are as per previous comments - really good for wide platters, most common items are presented between waist and shoulder height etc. But... freezer accessibility in a below bench height drawer is a pain in the backside. Our overflow fridge in the walk in pantry is a side by side, and is much, much better for drinks, back up tubs and jars and the freezer accessibility for longer term storage stuff is so much better. So in the end, neither is better at everything. You just have to pick and choose your compromises, like anything in life. Or if you can, have both!! Hi there, long-time lurker but first time posting. I've bought a house 2 and a bit years ago and last year we had some major water damage on a converted pergola area… 0 7976 Yes, unless you are in a low intensity rainfall area or the area is protected from rain. Do you have access to NCC Part 2 or can you download it? I can email you a copy… 10 12588 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7295 |
