I also want the door height for powder, garage, living/study openings to all match etc so cannot reduce understairs door height. Area marked with red – this is a 265d bulkhead running right into the middle of the alcove, this wont work either The kitchen/entry border must have a 265d bulkhead (blue) so this lines up with rest of kitchen bulkhead etc Thoughts are: Yellow areas change to full 120d bulkhead – you will not see different pockets of ceiling other than main entry hallway Understairs door has the full 120mm bulkhead to deal with the 2340 height door (should be ok and should hopefully line up with power/garage/living and study openings?) Blue is 200mm wide 265d bulkhead, allows room for 720w lin10 door (2340) and looks ok from kitchen side Is there a reason you need the bulkheads? Why not remove then from everywhere and that will also make the house more roomy, Also, why are you putting a door under the stairs? There is lots of storage space in your house.
