My final occupational certificate has a condition of "Reduce the stepdown/thresholds to 230mm between finished floor level and adjacent surface level for all external doors in accordance with Part 18.104.22.168 of NCC. "
It appears to me that my finished floor from laundary sliding door is a bit higher at 255mm. Please see attached photo. Will I need a step?
I am thinking of attaching a "Timber Duck Board Bath Mat" to the concrete floor using liquid nails to bond timber and concrete. https://www.bunnings.com.au/estilo-59-5 ... t_p4823423 .
Will that be ok for the occupational certificate?

230mm is a step height.
It can be a deck or actual concrete steps, but the requirement is that the maximum height difference from finished floor level (laundry) to the landing/deck/whatever is no more than 230mm
