Seals for garage doors

I looked into this as a part of trying to make my garage less hot in summer.
Was never offered the rubber option, only the brush option, so we went with the brush.
Surprisingly it made the garage almost totally air tight. We have our manhole in the garage ceiling and prior to the seal installation if it was windy the garage would pressurize and the manhole cover would flap. Now no movement at all even when very windy outside.
Garage is also now very dark with the door closed so need to turn on the light even during the brightest day
Made no discernible difference to temperatures in summer though.

Have experimented with door insulation as well. Interestingly enough we found that double sided foil air bubble insulation was just as effective, a lot lighter and a bit cheaper than the 25mm insulation batts that seem to be the recommended choice.

It's the same sort of stuff that you use inside a car as a windscreen sun shade.
Can be bought by the metre in the big green shed.
If your garage door is a standard sectional the back of it will be divided into sections by the vertical and horizontal bracing.
Cut to fit so it is locked in under the bracing

You don't need to stick it on at all. You cut it so that it is locked into position via the vertical and horizontal bracing

It will move about but it cannot fall out because the bracing holds it in. You cut it to the size behind the bracing and fold it in. It cannot fall out
