Citipower Electrical Pit Cost

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has had experience with getting a new power pit installed by Citipower in Melbourne eastern suburbs. I am wondering if anyone could kindly share what you have been quoted by Citipower. I have been quoted $5.5k for an electrical pit 5 meters away from the pole (3 phase), and i am wondering if this is a reasonable cost. Thanks!

I paid $3.5k for a pit about 5 metres from the pole (mid-2020) with SP Ausnet in Melbourne eastern suburbs, but it is only single phase

seems a bit expensive to me. i paid just over 5k for about 14 metres from pole with united energy in the sth east suburbs.

but at the end of the day, do you really have much choice ?

Thanks all for replying. Yes it does seem a little expensive but not sure what other choice there is :-?
