Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Giving out blogs.. 21Oct 13, 2008 9:37 am As others have mentioned it should be fine if you want them to see the updates.
Our builder knew about the blog but I didn't post anything on there about any of the difficulties to avoid legal tangles. Re: Giving out blogs.. 22Oct 13, 2008 9:45 am So if a CSC at P D is reading this forum and the blogs it would be safe to say that they probably all know about it and read the blogs on a regualr basis? At least if thy had the time or inclination they might.
They should be thankfull to get feedback that is completely honest and from a customers perspective because they certaily never ask for it otherwise. Re: Giving out blogs.. 23Oct 13, 2008 9:53 am hi
We sent an email to our builder about the blog. They had no issues. Hope thats the same once the build starts.... Regards beegee Re: Giving out blogs.. 24Oct 13, 2008 10:10 am I think the key to a good building blog is to remember that you're blogging about someone's job. Like it or not, builders are people. Imagine if you found a blog about you in your job!
So whenever I write a post on my blog, I write it being fully aware that the builder, the SS, the CSR and probably the CEO are going to read what I am writing. That's not to say that I want to be brown nose, but just being respectful that you're writing about someone's day-to-day job. Alan and Thuy in Melbourne Building a second time! Must be too busy reading blogs! hehehe...this thread has been a hive of activity today...hehe um, I dont think it will be too much of a problem...I'm generally not a kinda person, so if *fingers crossed* things did go majorly wrong, I would prob discuss/address them with my csr before posting on my blog anyway... Hving said that, I do hope that all csr's out there are doing thei jobs (i.e. returning calls, admin etc) rather than reading blogs all day! hehe The HIA contract, in the term & conditions section states that "Commencment" is deemed when the drainage is started or the piers are dug or the slab is formed up (incase… 2 6150 4 14258 Unless there is something in special conditions the builder does not have to give you timeline.
