And as with the drainage, the bathroom/wet areas are required to have a floor waste which will have a minimum riser height to allow proper drainage while in use. The only way around this is if the floor falls towards a doorway which opens to the outside of the property. This is to ensure water flows somewhere that will not cause damage to the house. This setup can be found in some laundries but I rarely see this and is generally only found in older homes.
