tiled shower niche price rawson homes tender variation

Due to space constraints for an additional prestige shower room on the ground floor (internal wall not wide enough for plumbing and depth of niche), Rawson Homes have prepared a tender variation to delete $300 per niche per dwelling. Is $300 an accurate price for a tiled shower niche?

I didn't build with Rawson but I can confirm my shower niches did cost $330 each

Similarly, I have not built with your builder but in my experience everything that has been 'credited' back to me so far is nowhere near it's actual worth, or what I would think would be reasonable. Not much you can do unfortunately, they seem to have their own system of applying arbitrary dollar amounts to goods and services- it's all about as clear as mud.

we dont charge anything for shower niches, but hopefully I read that correctly in that they are giving you a credit of $300.

if so good job, anytime you can get a credit back from a builder is a good day

We're building with Rawson and the price we were charged for niches was $600 each.

No point even considering what it is actually worth. Builders credits are never anywhere near what they are saving by not doing it. Likewise, adding things are always at a premium as well.
