Hi guys! My partner and I are building the Simonds Moroak 24 in Melbourne's West. Have recieved a lot of inspiration and ideas from different posts on Homeone. Looking to document our process, potentially get some ideas and create general discussion around the build. There isn't posts relating to the Moroak, so we just want to share our experience!

Current status of the build is that the land settled on 6/10/2020. To save cost on the build we have decided to do the site cut ourselves. In order to apply for Homebuilder grant, Simonds has requested us to complete the site cut before the gallery and contracts signed. We were able to get the block flat over the build envelope which was completed Monday 20/10/2020. Initial deposits have been paid to builder and soil testing to take place this coming week and slab engineering thereafter!
