We chose because of the Berwick address... as you know there is a lot going on around there but the address was a big drawcard for us. Here is hoping that everything stays on schedule for July/Aug title. I thought it wasn't that happening here in December when we made decision. However, I can see lot of people flocking in estate office these days. I am visiting the site almost every week to see the update. That time they had mentioned that it'll be ready end of August. You mentioning July, where have you heard that from? I can see the grass mowed and some soil dumped in some of the blocks. Apart from this no real work Lets hope things starts progressing quicker.. Also do you know if there is Recycled Water and NBN connections compulsion? Our Builder has put almost 3 grant extra in the estimates for these two things. Cheers! Not sure if I can tag you to make sure you see the reply... new to this forum. Anyway, we heard July/Aug from Lana in the office, but honestly I think July would be optimistic. The developer has said no recycled water but yes to NBN - our builder was $650ish for NBN. What Lot no. are you Macmaz? We aren't in a huge rush to move. We visited all the local estates along Grices (Berwick Waters, Circa, Boulevard, Orchard Rise) but ultimately chose Minta because their land prices were not too much higher than the others mentioned, and because we wanted a Berwick address. Nothing wrong with Clyde North (daughter goes to school there) but I feel the Berwick blocks will appreciate better and are more likely to get better appraisals. How about you, how did you come to the decision to build in Minta, and choose Big M as your builder? In anticipation this can happen earlier we started talking to various builders including Carlisle, big M and PD.. We liked Big M's design the most.. had few criteria in mind so filtered down designs.. As going through the process now we just feel that if it can happen earlier why not! Talking of south east The Avenue, Selandra Rise bit far from PT. Anyways who wants Cranbourne in their address. We considered Lynbrook Penton way blocks which was very close to PT. Apparantly they think that they can be better than Berwick Address. Within Berwick as you said MF offers biggest and most effordable blocks. Bernley gardens is too expensive. We thought that Berwick as a suburb is best in the area, good schools and right on the freeway. We are building with PD, Hopefully start in August!!! Although, I am really keen to see the detailed Master Plan drawings for full estate (shops, parks etc) - still waiting to be singed off I guess. We have had all our colour selections, tender and doing contract this week. Very exciting!!! Re: Minta Farm Berwick 17Mar 24, 2013 11:38 am We considered Hoffman 39, Brighton from PD which were qualifying for our main requirements. Ultimately settling for Big M's Glendale 38, quite similar. Did you add any upgrades? like rumpus? BTW, Big M have put us on only 6 month price freeze which i find unreasonable. But looks like Estate development is speeding up ad you said earlier.
