My reason is simply because I would only want my first floor sit at a higher level for better ocean view, while the ground floor are bedrooms and laundry don't require ceiling higher than 2400mm. I understand the associated cost to increase 2400 to 3000mm will be significant. G/F area is near 140m2. I know this could be answered from my builder, but just wondering if anyone here has been in similar situation during your planning stages?
