Good luck with your building. Can you post a floor plan of your house to be? I find it is very helpful to put the photos into place if there is also a floor plan. Re: M3tricon Jardine 30 (Frame is up!) 6Aug 20, 2008 11:17 pm Hi and welcome. Just checked out your house on M site. Great plan, lovely house! There are a few forum people building near you, we're just up the road at Mernda Villages but I go into H/stowe every week as two houses the same as ours are being built Are you up around Hawkstowe Pde/Wilton Vale?
Hope all goes well for you. Happy at Home Re: M3tricon Jardine 30 (Frame is up!) 7Aug 21, 2008 6:36 pm Hi Kim,
Welcome to the forum! Another M house to be built! Jardine is a nice house. It was the very 1st house offered to us by M when we started looking for single-storey houses. Re: M3tricon Jardine 30 (Frame is up!) 11Aug 26, 2008 6:08 pm Hi Kim,
I was just wondering how big your cut is? I'm also going to build with M3tricon and I think my cut will be deeper than that but they said we wouldn't need retaining walls but looking at yours......(mild panic attack ) Jo I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: M3tricon Jardine 30 (Frame is up!) 13Aug 26, 2008 8:39 pm Kim,
Did M do your retaining walls? Was that included in the price or extra? My cut will be just under 1.1metres at the highest point. But no retaining walls. BUT ours can be battened away and apparently that may make a difference? Jo I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: M3tricon Jardine 30 (Frame is up!) 16Aug 27, 2008 12:10 am Congratulations on the scrape, cut, loo and retaining wall!! Not long until pipes will be in.
With our block they spread those little purpley coloured rocks on our block after they put the pipes in. Happy at Home Re: M3tricon Jardine 30 (Frame is up!) 19Aug 27, 2008 1:24 pm Kim,
Sorry for all the questions. Do you have an agricultural drain at the base of the cut? Did you need one? Is there one on your plans? Jo I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: M3tricon Jardine 30 (Frame is up!) 20Aug 27, 2008 8:17 pm Hi Jo,
Ask away!, i had a look and the plans and can;t see anything noted for 'agricultural drain '... so I guess not needed? I do notice a black poly type pipe next to the retaining wall however you can see the end bit of it in the photo. This is 100% true. You can not hang anything on steel frames. very frustrating 8 8026 This certainly doesn't look good. I would be engaging with an independent inspector to have a look at this.
