Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 21, 2020 3:25 pm Hi all, We have been quoted by our builder to connect our block to the main power board. Our block is on a strata of 9 lots, and has the conduit in place but not the cable. We have been quoted $5,197 to run underground single phase power up to 100m. We are approximately 90m from the main switch board. That seems like a lot to me, and I question where they pulled this number from. Are there any experts in this field that might know if this is an about accurate quote for 100m of single phase power run? Install temporary earthing. and was $7900 in total inc. GST Another 2 quotations were even higher. But this is in Sydney, which is generally 30% higher than WA. With the amount charged for the upgrade the builder is probably charging closer to 100% margin. There are a few variables as I… 5 14306 |
