Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 19, 2020 10:52 pm Hello Guys, We are in weird state here so hoping to get your comments as the projects builders have mixed feedback and not clear to info anywhere ( not even by council rep via phone). Here is the story ... We are planning for a KDR on a 615sqm block which is sloping on front side and on angled road (please check the satellite image). This digging was only done on garage side as the left side frontyard is on higher side compared to driveway level but it is still slopping towards front. Please note all my nneighbors have garage up at same level as actual house. Apologize for my image, i'm not good at it but you will get some idea what I am trying to say/ask. My questions are: a) Which is the best option (1), (2) or (3)? b) If (a) is best then will council allow us to fillup so much area? I heard from some project builder that council may allow to fillup till 1m high or X quantity only but since all neighbors have their garage up with no digging, so council might agree with this justification to fill up all dug up area to match my otherside of my frontyard level. What do you guys think about this? I tried to call Paramatta council but their "expert" was not sharing clear info. c) In general, how do you suggest dealing with such dug up garage/driveway and sloping frontyard situation like I shown in the above picture?
