Just like the attached photo of one of their sites......... Darbecca has a document allowing Inspections from the Victorian Government Department of Health and Human Service that states clearly that we are able to operate. Carlisle refuse to accept it and will not allow home owners to have stage inspections. The most fundamental right of a purchaser is to have the dwelling inspected by a person/company of their choosing. Not the builders. Carlisle have allowed friendly's onto their sites to do stage inspections. How is your builder going with the current crisis in Victoria? Are they acting the same way? The Darbecca Team. We are building with Henley in Melbourne and PCI independent inspection happen 2 weeks ago and waiting for our final inspection on-site. We have done PCI walk through virtually. Customers are not allowed on site for any inspection except the final. As Henley offer 12 months maintenance period any defects can be report to them for fixing. God know what gonna happen in future. Re: Carlisle Homes using Covid 3Oct 15, 2020 10:42 am We built with Metricon in VIC, starting construction at the beginning of the first lockdown. Darbecca inspectors were permitted at each stage and indeed our Metricon Site Supervisor seemed quite happy to work with the reports provided. We scheduled site walkthroughs after each report to go through line by line, when no trades were scheduled to be onsite. The process was very professional, and we are happy with how the independent 3rd party inspection process was handled. At some point we start feeling worthless. As we couldn't see things properly. I think Technology helps in virtual tour of display homes. Which was done more professional way. We were lucky in that our old house was so small (86 square metres) compared to the new house, they were able to take enough readings around the old backyard house before… 8 37144 Carlisle use to sneak a water resistant "Performance Solution" into their contracts.
