I am in the early stages of sketching out my dream home. Could somebody help me understand the Standard A12/B19 daylight to existing windows? I am in SE Melbourne, Kingston Council.
At the moment the neighbour's house is 1.2m from the boundary. It has lots of windows on that side. I want to build a garage as close and as high to the boundary as possible to utilise max storage space. I am having trouble understanding the 3 square meter rule with 1m clear to the sky.
Basically is that rule measured from the wall, fascia or gutter?
See the below sketch, would this intended design comply?
Thanks for any input
