Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Design and orientation - advice appreciated 5Sep 12, 2020 10:40 pm oklouise realjian Hi, Advice sought: - Thoughts on the design/orientation? (Pic Below) the front is facing north. - general feedback of anything you think is relevant! I have recently decided to build in the new suburb in Canberra and am choosing custom building using an architect. I'm a first time home builder and have read a whole bunch of forums with a heap of useful advice, so would appreciate it if you could provide any of your thoughts on the below. Thanks a lot 0 504 Versaloc is a mortarless besser block system that still needs a properly engineered footing. If you just do a 400x200 footing it will fail in time. At 17m long you need it… 1 17694 Thank you so much for the effort. We will use it to talk with builder. We also had idea of building duplex instead and seeking suggest ions. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=106744 11 13833 |
