Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 12, 2020 9:18 am Hi, Advice sought: - Thoughts on the design/orientation? (Pic Below) the front is facing north. - general feedback of anything you think is relevant! I have recently decided to build in the new suburb in Canberra and am choosing custom building using an architect. I'm a first time home builder and have read a whole bunch of forums with a heap of useful advice, so would appreciate it if you could provide any of your thoughts on the below. Our main bathroom is directly above the laundry though. It’s been one of the small design details that has a big impact in terms of making our life easier. Thanks a lot Hi all, we have a home where the main living area and kitchen windows face NW. What should I do to optimise the light and solar principles? It is a renovation so… 0 791 Thanks for all the feedback everyone. In defence of our architect, he really met the design and layout requests of our brief. The garage really doesn't work positioned on… 20 18273 |
