Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 07, 2020 12:38 am Hi all, we are building with Rossdale in Adelaide. After a long subdivision process our titles should finally be issued this week so we can get a formal finance approval (fingers crossed!). Just wondering how long it took Rossdale to start once you had your finance approval? Pretty keen to get started! Thanks! Re: Rossdale - how long till your build started? 3Sep 17, 2020 4:44 pm Hi Tegsley Where abouts are you building? We are buidling with Rossdale too and I've only just got my title too after the subdivision. Tash my consultant is good, but he is in the Southern Suburbs. Cheers Natalie Re: Rossdale - how long till your build started? 4Sep 21, 2020 8:20 pm Tash2020 Sorry I can't answer your question. But can you recommend a Rossdale Sales Consultant? We are also thinking of building with them in northern suburbs. Hi Tash, we had Rob Gosling. He was really good, clearly been doing it for a long time and actually went into bat for us with council to get our plans approved. He copied me in on the email and had actually done some research on similar developments in the area to get it approved. I have a $1000 referral thing if you’re interested? If you went ahead with them you get $1000 of stuff and so do we. No pressure, just figured I’d mention it seeing as you’re looking at Rossdale anyway! When are you expecting building to start? Would love to see updates on yours too! Re: Rossdale - how long till your build started? 8Sep 21, 2020 9:39 pm How exciting!! I have no idea! We have spent the last 4 months going back and forth with a design. We’ve finally got one so the draftsperson is doing the proper drawing now and then I guess the fun starts . Are you building off a plan? Re: Rossdale - how long till your build started? 9Sep 22, 2020 10:39 am Nitnat How exciting!! I have no idea! Are you building off a plan? We just went with a standard design. We’ve subdivided our block and are building two investment properties so weren’t too picky on the design. Would’ve been a different story if it was a home for us to live in! Is yours to live in? Re: Rossdale - how long till your build started? 11Sep 23, 2020 4:58 pm Nitnat Oh cool. Yeah ours is our forever home, so going all out (as far as budget will allow) haha. Oh nice! Hopefully we get to build our forever home one day! Have fun designing! Will keep you posted on how our builds going once it starts so you know what you’re in for 😊 Congratulations! Nice to put that to bed before christmas, now you can relax 3 7134 What? It's a lighting question, the control joint is only needed at 12m centres, a bulkhead or change of direction will suffice as a 'break' in the ceiling, just make… 8 8551 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17511 |
