With the compact living/ dining, unfortunately I can see no other way (without reducing your rumpus) but to relocate the main bath as shown so you have a larger and clean lines open living area. The only downside is no windows in bathroom but I lived with a skylit bathroom, its actually quite pleasant, a unique feature, less windows to clean , also flows better next to the wc. For linen, I've shown some options, you can also have no built-ins with 2 WIR make the rooms bigger. I noticed the corridors a tad wider (1.2m) , 1 m is sufficient for moving furniture. You will notice I move the kitchen up but relocate the entry to rumpus so make this corridor less to gain more for you WIP . Oh and I also added the sliding door for more northern light, as suggestions above. To reduce your overall house, there is opportunity to increase setback to Ens/ B5/ Laundry external walls , a great place to co-locate A/C/ rwt/ HWU, avoiding your nice rear yard Happy planning! Re: Need Floor-plan Feedback/Recommendations Please 9Sep 05, 2020 9:20 am imoonyl Hey Everyone, We'd appreciate any feedback you have for our floorplan that we have so far! My current issues are that I'm not feeling that the living area might be a bit cramped with a dining and family set up, but I'm not sure how to fix it. Also, natural lighting into the main living area might be an issue as well, though we might be able to fix this issue with some skylights. The house is currently 291sqm2 and we're looking to reduce the size a little bit to reduce some costing. If you guys have any suggestions on how to fix it, please let me know! My partner and I are going to take some inspiration from the first tweaked floorplan, as the structure is close to what we want. Thank you again for this 6 55347 Hi there! Absolutely agree on the wasted space. We have no desire for the master to be that oversized, but it occurred when we increased the depth of the garage. We have… 4 12499 |
