Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 31, 2020 2:08 pm Hi everyone First post, but long time lurker! We're finally at the point where we might be able to add to some of the discussions! We're pretty close to settling on our floor plan and wondered if anyone can see anything glaringly obvious that we should rethink. Couple of notes: - Front faces north (unfortunately) which is why we've put the study at the front. - Unsure about how to use the cupboard space in the ensuite that sits between the bathroom and WIR. It's there just to use the space in front of the closed in toilet. - As it stands, we don't like the line of sight from the lounge room directly into the powder room. We've put in a cavity slider but unsure if that's the right move. Alternative we see is to flip the bath, powder and laundry. Flipping just powder and bath means we lose the broom c/board in the laundry. Thanks everyone! Thanks oklouise - appreciate you taking so much time to do that! Some really awesome suggestions there - we're probably going to take some of those on. Great way to use some of the spaces. Thanks again! Thank you very much for that, much appreciated. I can extend the bathroom space to the end of the dark grey part in front of Bedroom 4 if needed.
