Hi looking for feedback on the proposed plan above. We are planning to get an electrician in post build to make a number of amendments.
We are making changes to powepoints certainly to remove some to align to other rooms and enable others to be added later.
The main item i want to rectify is lighting:
I have read but am somewhat confused around the option of converting single batten light points to downlights(multiple).
Ideally we are thinking that we could get a single batten in some rooms (main and home theatre) in a corner - that could be converted into a downlight and create room for 4 of them. Is this possible - the conversion of 1 into 4 - i did watch a youtube vid of converting a single point which seems straightforward!

The main issue i would foresee with this is ensuring that the 1 batten installed by the builder will symetrically work once the other 3 are installed.
Sometimes this is easier said than done if there is a beam in the way of one of the 4 downlights, in which case you would need to adjust the location of all of them in the room to work symmetrically.
