Does it looks the same as the Coomera Retreat display ?? Re: building my coral brampton - paint pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 948Nov 07, 2009 7:21 pm hey juljas - i haven't been game to ask yet they still have to do the 2nd coat of natural white, the gloss work and touch ups, troy the tiler is due back on 12/11/09 to do the splashback and main floor tiles (and the stackstone for the front feature) and after that it's just the external painting, the eaves need finishing off, the insulation in the roof and the fiddly bits - mirrors, toilets, taps etc. They've got about 6 weeks left before they knock of for xmas, so who knows how's your build going? lots of progress? 2014 - Prepping to build the Soho 4 with Plantation homes, industrial style 2009 - Built the Brampton with Coral Homes viewtopic.php?f=31&t=15399&start=280 Re: building my coral brampton - paint pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 949Nov 07, 2009 7:26 pm hey bek it looks pretty close i think i just asked my dad if he reckoned it was cream and he said "no it's white" like i was silly it depends on the light aswell - in the rooms with lots of natural light it does look a bit creamier (more contrast to the ceiling white i think ) also i don't think the coomera stradbroke has as much natural light as my design, so that is probably where the difference is? i love it though it's just a nice warm white i'm wondering though, did they use ceiling white in the coomera display or did they use natural white? i was told you could only have ceiling white... 2014 - Prepping to build the Soho 4 with Plantation homes, industrial style 2009 - Built the Brampton with Coral Homes viewtopic.php?f=31&t=15399&start=280 Re: building my coral brampton - paint pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 950Nov 07, 2009 7:30 pm Our build is going great - except for a minor hiccup with our patio , but that got sorted out in our favour. Phew! All of our bricks are finished, our roof is all done, the ducting for aircon has been put in and we have all of the walls up and pretty much finished. Not sure what happens now though...... Think they are doing something with the eaves next week, but other than that totally clueless as SS was away Thurs/ Fri and usually gives us an update Fridays. So exciting though! Absolutely loving it and just want to move in now now now!!!!! Yeah i'm not sure, I think they used Natural White on the ceilings in that display too because there was not alot of contrast between the walls and the ceilings. But yes we were also told that we could only use ceiling white. Which is something i'm going to have a chat to our painter about. Re: building my coral brampton - paint pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 952Nov 07, 2009 7:36 pm good plan - i wanted to have the same for everything, i wonder how much they'll charge? if i really want it changed it probably wouldn't be a big job, especially as it's all the same colour 2014 - Prepping to build the Soho 4 with Plantation homes, industrial style 2009 - Built the Brampton with Coral Homes viewtopic.php?f=31&t=15399&start=280 Re: building my coral brampton - paint pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 953Nov 07, 2009 7:53 pm I wouldn't think it would cost that much. Seal all grout 3. Maybe paint garage floor? is anyone else doing this? Great ideas Jess We definitely want to paint our garage floor. Not sure about what type of paint or colour yet. But it's on the list (along with lots of other things ). Sealing the grout is something I'd love to be able to do but don't think I'll have the time or patience because my house will be bigger than yours. Good luck with that job I'll see if I can grow to like the Coral range of handles but if not we'll probably change ours too. Something I'll be doing is sealing/coating the shower screen glass. I've heard of a few products that are supposed to do the trick. Good luck with your list Re: building my coral brampton - paint pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 958Nov 08, 2009 1:17 pm thanks renee i'm sure all of these jobs will be long and tedious but i'm quite excited and decorating and landscaping 2014 - Prepping to build the Soho 4 with Plantation homes, industrial style 2009 - Built the Brampton with Coral Homes viewtopic.php?f=31&t=15399&start=280 Re: building my coral brampton - paint pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 959Nov 09, 2009 12:40 pm Quote: Maybe paint garage floor? is anyone else doing this? I think L will do it on the same day that I seal all the grout, gee that's going to be a fun job with 100m2 of tiling Quote: Something I'll be doing is sealing/coating the shower screen glass. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 15106 |
