Re: Our first home with Summit - KEYS 26 NOV!! 883Dec 03, 2015 10:09 am I have been waiting for Mr OM to finish assembling furniture so that I can do proper room reveals (feel like I am on the block, lol) but I can't wait to share this with you too, I know you can't wait for the photos . I have told him he is letting us down . Here is a sneak peek of the sheers, pic taken on Tuesday soon after the install. I will do a post about the window coverings and let you know the supplier later. I am in love with the dining table, the wallnut matches perfectly with the wallnut feature cupboards in the kitchen . You can see we still had 2 chairs then, now we have 3 . Ignore the boxes, it's work in progress. Our first home with Summit - Sheers sneek peak!! 898Dec 03, 2015 11:08 pm Ok, where do I start? Sorry for the late response about the sheers guys, it’s been very busy as you can imagine. Anyway, we used a company called Unique Curtains and Blinds for our sheer curtains and blinds. These guys are really good and we are really impressed with their work. I would highly recommend them! It’s funny how we came across this company. We had gone to Boardwalk shutters to finalise our master and theatre shutters order and to see what they had in their display. As we were walking out, we saw a sign for Unique Curtains and Blinds which is opposite Boardwalk shutters in Balcatta and decided to go into their showroom to have a look and see what they had to offer. My first reaction was they should be very expensive since they are “unique” lol. We decided to go in anyway and we just fell in love with the sheers when we saw them on display. We spoke to the owner, Jon Croucher and he was very lovely to deal with. We gave him a rough idea of what we wanted and he took us through what they had to offer and suggested a few things we could do etc and then showed us the samples to choose from. There is a lot of variety but for us it was easy, sometimes you just know what you want when you see it. He gave us a quick quote and then he mentioned that if we wanted to see more of his work we could go to the Ventura homes group display homes as he is the one who installs their window coverings. We went and saw the ones in Calleya and we were impressed so that made the decision even easier.
We went back the following weekend and finalised our material selections and also told him that we wanted the tracks to be close to the cornice just like what they do in the display homes. He came and did a check measure on site and the curtains were ready a few weeks afterwards and we just had to call them to arrange the installation when the house was ready. Another happy dance now that the curtains are in . We found their price to be very reasonable compared to all the other quotes we got from other well-known suppliers . Sheers fabric is called Barrow Creek Silver and we chose the slimline tracks. We also chose the flat anodised base for rollers, I think it looks nicer than the rounded ones. The installer was very clean as well and I didn't even need to clean anything after he finished his installation Thank you so much Jon and team for a job well done Here is their website address http://www.uniquecurtainsandblinds.com.au And you can contact Jon Croucher on 08 9240 2424 . Small world lol! So good to hear your review of them. You've done so much already! What is your wall color again? First Build, Commodore Homes, Honeywood, Wandi. viewtopic.php?t=77170 Congrats. Will be watching this progress and interested to see how you go with summit. 12 36036 We already paid for somfy motors for the blinds.
