Cheers Diggadog (Stage 6 - Rowan Ave) Re: williams landing 883Apr 30, 2010 10:32 am We are in stage 6 too, can wait hopefully they will not be delaying settlement. We have already moved our sttlement to be in July as we though they would be running behind. What builders have you guys chosen? Re: williams landing 884Apr 30, 2010 10:38 am We are building the Kobo 002 with Urbanedge (UE). We have just been advised that the original Bonair Refrigerated Cooling system we chose, is not compliant or not efficient enough, so UE have suggested a Lennox Unit at no extra cost, but we have researched it and it doens't have very good reviews so we suggested some other ones and are now waiting for UE to advise a quote and if they will install it. We are also looking at double glazing all the windows. My bro in law is a builder and highly recommends it. Anyone else building in Rowan Ave, we would love to meet our neighbours!! I'm no 'Techspert' but perhaps someone who is could set up some extra pages for specific topics, for eg: "Williams Landing - Building/builder matters" "Williams Landing - Developer matters" "Williams Landing - services/amenities matters" If someone does set them up, perhaps drop a post here to say what's been started. Re: williams landing 888May 05, 2010 12:04 am the ppl in CW are a bunch of jerks...most lands and roads r completed and they juz taking their time on the settlement..keep in mind tat most ppl have signed the building contracts and the longer they release the land, the more we have to pay due to increase in material cost Re: williams landing 889May 05, 2010 3:32 pm you will settle prior to 30 June where they are available.... end of financial year, public listed company etc etc Williams Landing Stage 2 - Building Nolan with Big M - Slab Poured 09/11/09 Frame started 17/11/09 Brick started 05/01/10 Lock-up 31/01/10 Re: williams landing 890May 05, 2010 8:57 pm I just read this news story about a recent armed robbery at WL with taser and shotgun which I find quite alarming!! Especially that it happened on a Friday evening (7:30pm) when the owners were at home. I'm in stage 6 and am now worried about the safety of the suburb. Any comments from residents who have already moved in? Re: williams landing 891May 05, 2010 9:35 pm Can and does happen anywhere, new or old suburb. It was actually in Wyndham Waters. That is a very bad news for me. This means I have to pay $2500 to Porter Davis. I just want to cry now. kingcy99 Stage 6, Palmers Rd Re: williams landing 899May 08, 2010 3:44 pm that is not on. I have purchased a land and home package and I thought I Was going to be in my new sparkling home by christmas this year. My partner craig is going to be very very upset at the news , plus the builder wants to sting me with a $8000 surcharge, due to the increase in the wood supply. That is just not fair, it is like i'm being taken for a roller coaster. Only thing Craig is the one paying for the roller coaster. regards Jimmy D.
